Michael Roland, P.E., Vice President, QA/QC Manager
Mr. Roland has extensive experience in geotechnical engineering and consulting and serves as a Principal for Alliance Geotechnical Group, Inc. Mr. Roland has been serving the Dallas / Fort Worth Metroplex since 1987. Mr. Roland has managed multi-million dollar projects over the past few years including the Dallas Levee Project and numerous TxDOT Contracts. The Dallas Levee Project was an 18 month long project with billings of 3.4 million dollars. For this project, Mr. Roland managed eight drilling crews, eight engineers/geologist loggers, two transportation crews, and six laboratory personnel simultaneously. Prior to joining AGG, Mr. Roland served both as a geotechnical and construction materials engineering department manager for major local consulting firms. This broad experience base has equipped Mr. Roland to oversee Alliance Geotechnical Group’s unique and stringent QA/QC Program. Mr. Roland is active in the civic and professional communities and has been selected to present several professional engineering papers at the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) state conventions. He routinely provides professional development seminars for local Engineers and Architects. Mr. Roland holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington and is a Licensed Professional Engineer.
