![]() Terry W. Oswald manages AGG’s geotechnical and construction materials engineering and testing projects out of the Longview office. Mr. Oswald has over twenty four years experience in geotechnical engineering and construction materials engineering and testing. Mr. Oswald has worked with some of the areas’ largest Geotechnical Engineering and Construction Materials Testing firms. Mr. Oswald is responsible for all phases of geotechnical consulting and construction materials testing, including coordination of field activities, review of laboratory testing results, engineering analyses and report preparation. His project experience includes geotechnical investigations for residential and commercial structures, school facilities, correctional facilities, roadways and bridges, airports, water and wastewater treatment facilities, utility line improvements, and numerous others.
Mr. Oswald has been extensively involved in geotechnical instrumentation for tunneling and deep excavation projects, including preparation of instrumentation specifications, implementation of instrumentation systems, installation of instrumentation, inspection of instrumentation installed by others, monitoring instrumentation, review and evaluation of monitoring data. Mr. Oswald served as project manager and field engineer for the installation of geotechnical instrumentation for the City of Dallas Cole Par Detention Vault, as well as the Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) NC-1B Subway Tunnel, NC-1A project and CBD Transitway Mall project.
He has completed more than half of the course work required for a Master of Science degree in Geotechnical Engineering at the University of Texas at Arlington. Prior to graduation in 1988, Mr. Oswald was an Engineers Aide IV for the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT). His experience includes surveying and materials testing for TxDOT. |
