CMT Project Manager
AGG is looking for a motivated individual to fill full-time CMT Project Manager positions for our Construction Materials Testing Department in our Dallas, Houston and Frisco offices.
Duties:
The essential duties for this job include:

Prepares scope and manages budget and time/cost estimates.

Consults with Project Engineers, and contractors' superintendents on work progress and construction problems.

Directs, develops, and evaluates projects using accepted project management methodologies.

Ability to read plans, specifications and interpret test results.
-
Assists management in determining number of technicians needed on assigned projects.
-
Attends pre-construction meetings and answers questions from contractors and other attendees.
-
Observes and inspects ongoing construction work.
-
Resolves differences in interpretation of plans and specifications.
-
Exhibits high standard of personal conduct, accountability, and appearance. Complies with company policies and procedures

Serves as a lead worker or project leader.

Education
This job requires the following:

Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline or 6 years’ experience in related field
Work Experience
This job requires the following:
-
4 years in construction project management; project management, process engineering or business process improvement methodologies (Experience can be satisfied by full-time or prorated part-time equivalent)

2 years in Laboratory work, material inspection or other eng-related activities
-
Experience can be satisfied by full-time or prorated part-time equivalent
-
Related College education or relevant technical training may be substituted for experience on a year per year basis.
